UITSTEKENDGeverifieerd When in Bruges, visit this cosy cafe! My Mum found this cafe online and the positive reviews encouraged us to try it for lunch. The cafe was in a quieter location, away from the main square but still with scenic surroundings. We received a friendly welcome and it was pleasing that the menu was translated into English. Another plus point was being able to customise our food slightly by asking for an ingredient to be removed, which we appreciated. There were a few vegetarian options - we would recommend the bagels, scrambled eggs with cheese & bread and the bowl of fresh fruit. I picked the chives and seeds off my bagel, but that was due to personal preference. Good range of drinks, including smoothies and beers! There was a seating area; this was fairly small and could be a bit of a tight squeeze in places (especially as one table was right near the toilet door!). This didn’t have any toilet paper, but as soon as we notified one of the staff, they rectified this straight away. All of the food tasted very nice, and we felt it was good value for money. We liked the sausage dog theme within the restaurant too! Nous avons pu manger des sandwiches chauds, très originaux et de très bonne qualité, boire un délicieux jus d'oranges pressées, bref, tout était parfait! Nous avons même voulu y retourner le lendemain tellement c'était bien, malheureusement c'était fermé (dimanche). This spot is a gem! Right near the canal the view is gorgeous. We had an early train to catch and Tattie's opened early so we could have a bite before catching the bus to the train (which stops right beside the cafe). My husband and I had the waffles with fruit and they were delicious. Serve was very friendly and efficient even though tables filled up quickly.
